There are choice of three or more different colours available. Leather, plastic, and splashes of chrome work together on a dash that is constructed with precision layout. Buttons, knobs and dials are dainty and create a very understated, sophisticated display. All of the major controls are well positioned. There is decent space for four adults, and three can fit across the rear seat. Rear headroom is tight for those over six-feet tall, but kneeroom is generous. The boot is large, and the large opening makes loading big items easy. Split fold seats are also a standard feature, as is a through load flap in the centre.

Peugeot 407 Coupe 2010 A Car with stylish design combining driving exhilaration, The 407 Coupe comes with a 2.2-litre four-pot petrol, a 2.0-litre HDi diesel and a 3.0-litre V6 petrol – but it’s the 2.7-litre V6 diesel that impressed us most. Twist the key and you’d be forgiven for thinking you were at the wheel of the petrol model; it’s one of the quietest cars. And the engine’s talents don’t end there. It revs smoothly and silently all the way to the red line, and never loses its composure. The new V6 HDi PEF 3.0-litre engine, coupled with a 6-speed sequential automatic gearbox, develops a maximum power output of 177 kW (241 bhp) at 3,800 rpm supplemented by maximum torque of 450 Nm from 1,600 rpm – a value which remains unchanged up to 3,600 rpm. With this engine, the Peugeot 407 Coupé becomes the most powerful production vehicle ever constructed by Peugeot in its 120 years history as a car manufacturer.
